Summer is an incredible time to explore Boise’s parks, trails and recreational facilities. From our popular swimming lessons to Playcamps, art classes and more, we’ve got an affordable activity for everyone in the family. Check out the latest environmental education classes for kids or sign up for a Lifetime & Leisure tour. Our Adaptive Recreation offerings include outings, trips and classes for a a variety of ages and abilities, too!

In our efforts to continue to serve you better and more efficiently, Boise Parks and Recreation is combining registration for all summer camps, classes and activities – including our popular Playcamps – into one registration period in April 2024.

Mark your calendar as all summer activity registration will start on the following dates:

Summer registration for Boise residents starts Monday, April 1 at 7 a.m.
Summer registration for non-residents starts Wednesday, April 3 at 7 a.m.

Summer Playcamps

Activities are designed to encourage healthy recreational play and meet physical and social needs.

Youth Camps

There is a wide variety of different camps offered for all of your child's interests.

Pools & Aquatics

Our aquatic programming includes open swim sessions, swim lessons, summer recreational swim team and lap swim.

Kristin Armstrong Youth Scholarship

Boise Parks and Recreation is proud to offer the Kristin Armstrong Youth Scholarship to qualifying youth participants within our community. This scholarship program is designed to help meet the needs of families within the community to access youth recreational programs and activities at a reduced rate.
