Police Data and Dashboards

Working Together to Create a Safe and Healthy City for Everyone

The Boise Police Department is committed to maintaining open and transparent processes that inspire public confidence in our agency. We invite you to explore the crime data included in this dashboard and gain insights into crime trends within our communities. Together, we can create a safe and healthy city for everyone.

Not finding what you're looking for? Check out the Quick Links for additional resources or the FAQ page for assistance and ways to contact us. In the future, we intend to add additional data about all calls for police services to better show all policing activities within our communities.

Please note: Dashboards are best viewed in modern browsers, including: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Older browsers may not load all elements.

Crime Statistics

The data included on the Crime Stats page comes from Boise Police Department reports and is intended to provide transparency on reported crimes in Boise. Data can be viewed to show trends or by geographic area, and does not represent calls for service. The data is reported to the state and federal government through a program called NIBRS.
